I wish I can help u but I dont know it too, but i believe the best way is to look it up on google or yahoo because the customer service in this website or app isnt that good, ur question could take up to a day or more to be answered:)

Tax rate is 6 1/2%. So we need to multiply 6 1/2% by 8.50 to find the tax.

First convert 6 1/2% to decimal by dividing by 100 (move decimal 2 places left).

6.5% = .065

now multiply

8.50 × .065 = .55

6 1/2% tax on 8.50 is .55 (55 cents)
