The water from different sources like river, lakes, aquifer or spring, ocean gets deposited in the deep regions of the land. Swamp is a wetland that is found in the warm climatic regions and these are occupied with woody plants or trees. Swamps are typically found in the forested areas. The soil is rich in minerals but exhibit poor drainage system.
