parentheses to get 3x + 3 on the right side of the equation.

On the left bring down your y - 2 to get y - 2 = 3x + 3.

Next we would move the -2 to the right side of the

equation by adding 2 to both sides to get y = 3x + 5.

Now, this equation is written in slope-intercept form because

the y is by itself on the left side of the equation.
