Given :

An infinite series :

[tex]a_1=26[/tex]

[tex]r=\dfrac{1}{2}[/tex]

To Find :

The sum of the infinite series .

Solution :

The sum of infinite series of G.P is given by :

[tex]S=\dfrac{a_1}{1-r}\\\\S=\dfrac{26}{\dfrac{1}{2}}\\\\\\S=52[/tex]

Therefore , the sum of the infinite series is 52 .

Hence , this is the required solution .
