Answer:

Direct Current Polarity Normal - When the electrode is connected to the negative terminal of the power source and the base metals are connected to the positive terminal.

Direct Current Reverse Polarity - When the base metals are connected to the negative terminal of the power source and the electrode is connected to the positive terminal.
