In the second attempt, since 100ml oxygen is produced in 5 minutes, the rate of oxygen production is r' = volume of oxygen/time = 100 ml/5 min = 20 ml//min

Since r = 25 ml/min > r' = 20 ml/min, the speed of oxygen production is bigger in the first attempt.
