Rhyme happens when the final stressed syllables of two or more words have similar, or identical sounds. In poetry, it refers to the repetition of these sounds at the end of each line of poetry. There are many different rhyming schemes, and they often help us determine the type of poem we are dealing with. In this case, Poe uses rhyme in the words "morrow" and "borrow."
