I knew this one girl who cut herself. Her mom was so worried that she made her try different activities to try to make her happy. After more cuts and failed sports and club attempts, the mom finally got her to try volleyball. Although the girl wasn't really good, she felt really happy, and she enjoys the sport and has stopped cutting herself.
