Your ratio is 6:36

A part to whole ratio is the smaller quantity to the larger quantity.

Let’s find the ratio from dimes to all the coins.

12+6+18= 36

There are 6 dimes.

6:36

Divide both sides by 6 to simplify.

1:6

There is one dime to every 6 coins.

I hope this helps!
