Hey there!
We know that he is getting paid 15 dollars per hour, plus the 25 dollar bonus. We multiply 15 by the number of hours, or h, because in order to get our hourly pay we have to multiply how many dollars per hour we earn by the hours we work;

[tex] \frac{dollars}{hour} * hours = dollars[/tex]

Therefore, we have 15h, and lastly, we must add that bonus, in the beginning, to get (let p be pay)

p = 25 + 15h

Hope this helps!
